Is it possible that iPhone OS 4.0 will be integrated with Facebook? Obviously many people wonders to know the truth, including millions apple fans and facebook users.

It is reported that, according to the latest rumor, it seems that Facebook will be integarated with iPhone OS 4.0. Anyway, as of now the details are coming courtesy of Business Insider who are reporting that;

    “Our source tells us that Apple is at least going to build Facebook contact syncing directly into the iPhone software, so you can pull Facebook contacts into your iPhone’s phonebook.”

Fruther more, it does not seem to be limited to the address book, sincer after all there are apps already available for that. In addition, we could also see Apple integrate Facebook Connect into the SDK which will allow developers to easily add in social features. But wait, there is still more.

But this last one seems to come more as a wish than a rumor, but that said, here it is;

    “We also anticipate — but don’t know — that Apple may build some sort of Facebook messaging features into the iPhone. Maybe you’ll be able to send Facebook messages to contacts just as easily as text messages.”

However, other mobile operating systems such as Android already have some level of integration with Facebook and the fact that Facebook has millions and millions of active users with no real sign of slowing down — it may be a good time for Apple to jump aboard the “we support Facebook” bandwagon.
