The market research company Ovum said, the Android application downloads will be first time to exceed Apple application.

Ovum indicate in their Thursday Report that the estimated Android Application download this year will reach to 8.1 billion, however the Apple application download just 6 Billion. But this is already showed both two platform are all in amazing increase. Last year Apple and Android application downloads are respectively 2.7 billion and 1.4 billion, Therefore this year the application download is estimated increased at 144%.

The analyst Nick Dillon in Ovum said the requirments from customer to Mobile application seems never get satisfy, and this tendency will keep increased and will remain this year. The application download will have a prosperous future.

However at back of increasing Android application download, Customer and Electrical supplier do a lot favor to the Android platform. The Android operating system  support smartphone and tablet computer, in the same time, their free service attract many company to join their platform. The Telecom operator are all eager to promote the smartphone and attract more customers. So in the last few months , the Android mobile phone have a great increase in the share of the market. The increase of Android  is also benefit from the other application stores, like Getjar , they all try to provide more application choices to customer.

Although the Apple can't compete with Android in the download, they still take advantage in their value of application. Ovum said Apple still take the lead role in the charge of application, and the estimated application income in 2016 will reach to 2.86 billion US Dollars. However Android in that time will reach to 1.5 Billion US dollars. But in 2016, the Android application downloads will reach to 21.8 Billion , and Apple IOS application download will just 11.6 Billion.

Although there is a big space in the application market, but Ovum said as customer will become more and more nitpick and also more and more applications will be promote in this market, it will more difficult for the developers to release  more attracted applications.
