Can you imagine that what kind of wearable iPod looks like? Just put iPods on your wrist and earphone in your ear. When want to play next song, you don't need to press any button on you iPods, instead just saying "next track"... Is it real?
Yes, Apple engineers will make it ture. It is reports that Apple is “secretly” develping on a number of wearable devices including a new curved-glass iPod that would wrap around the wrist. The devices will have Siri built-in allowing us to control them with our voice, and may even relay information back to our iPhones.
The Cupertino company has a “very small group” of employees “conceptualizing and even prototyping” wearable devices, according to a person with knowledge of the company’s plans, undoubtedly inspired by the popularity of its iPod nano being used as a wristwatch.
Unlike the iPod nano, however, the new devices will all communicate with our iPhone. As a result, the smartphone is going to be the hub for our information sharing and gathering. Think of it as a force field that will engulf us wherever we are, transmitting power and Internet access to sensors and screens that are tacked to our clothing.
However, Apple may not be the first to bring this technology to market. Google is also working on similar products, according to the report, which will communicate with its Android smartphones.
